our Location

12507 Cortez Rd West, (P.O. Box 951) Cortez, FL 34215

(We're Located at the Foot of The Cortez Bridge)

Cortez Park is perfectly located right on the Intracoastal Waterway on Sarasota Bay nestled between Tampa and Sarasota. Sarasota is the melting pot of art, culture, world class entertainment, attractions and shopping. Our park rests on the west side of Cortez, a small historic (but still working) fishing village. Right across the bridge lies Anna Maria Island's city of Bradenton Beach. We challenge you to visit the Gulf Coast of Florida and find a more relaxed, yet convenient location. We are close to shopping malls and hospitals. Our historic park in the village of Cortez, however, is a nostalgic look back in time when people and things moved slower.

From I-75 - Take I-75 to exit 217, State Road 70. Follow SR 70 west (which becomes 53rd Ave) approx 8 miles to the "round-about" and 75th Street. Turn right on 75th and head north approx. 1 mile to Cortez Road. Turn left on Cortez and proceed west about 3 miles. When you are approaching the Cortez Bridge, turn left into our park.

From Tampa - Head south approximately 38 miles on I-275 towards Bradenton. Exit at US-19 taking highway #301 through City of Palmetto and then over bridge into Bradenton and continue south about 2 miles going around wide bend in which that road then becomes Cortez Road. Stay on Cortez Road for approximately 5 miles. We are at the foot of the Cortez Bridge on your left.

From Sarasota - Head north on US 41 (Tamiami Trail) towards Bradenton. Turn left (west) on Cortez Road approximately 5 miles. We are at the foot of the Cortez Bridge on your left.
